CLEARING OBSTACLES FOR THE NEW YEAR PARTY!

Join Megan Mook, Kevin Townley, and Lopön Karla Jackson Brewer for Dharma Friends' ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY! In this special event, Lopön Karla Jackson Brewer will perform a live Chöd ritual — sung in Tibetan and accompanied by traditional instruments, to help us clear obstacles for the New Year.

To celebrate an exuberant year of Dharma and art, Dharma Friends is thrilled to host Tibetan artist and musician Loten Namling and Brooklyn singer-songerwriter Glenn Kye.

Join us for this extra special celebration!

FEEDING NOT FIGHTING: AN

Join Megan Mook, Kevin Townley, and Lopön Karla Jackson Brewer for an intimate discussion on loving all parts of ourselves followed by a guided FEEDING YOUR DEMONS meditation and an immersive sound bath with George MacPherson.

During our February Dharma Friends, Lopön Karla Jackson Brewer will offer a guided FEEDING YOUR DEMONS practice, a highly effective meditation inspired by the Chöd practice and developed by Lama Tsultrim Allione. Through Feeding Your Demons, we’ll learn how to transform our inner obstacles (anger, anxiety, loneliness, etc.,) into friends and allies on the path. We’ll integrate this transformative practice with a deep sound meditation.

SPIRITUAL ALLIES: ALCHEMY & ART ON THE PATH

For our final event of our Winter Cycle, Dharma Friends is thrilled to host Nuala Clarke and Crystal Gandrud in celebration of their new book Irish Moss of a Dead Man's Skull,  which is "an alchemical portfolio; an ode to light, color, loss, and the elements, a fierce meditation on the inherent healing power of abstract art.”

The evening will feature discussion, meditation, and avant-garde viola music by Rob Ward.
